Braća Šunjevarić - Grnčarija Zlakusa
Brača Sunjevarić Grnčarije Zlakusa is a family-run pottery workshop rooted in the centuries-old ceramic tradition of the village of Zlakusa. Located near Užice, the workshop creates handcrafted earthenware using a unique blend of clay and calcite, shaped entirely by hand without industrial molds — preserving an authentic technique passed down through generations.
Born from a deep respect for heritage and craftsmanship, each piece reflects the essence of traditional Balkan pottery. From cooking pots to decorative vessels, their creations are not only functional but also carry a distinctive rustic aesthetic, shaped by fire and earth. The use of natural materials and open-fire baking gives every item its recognizable texture and durability.
With a strong presence at local markets and growing visibility online, Brača Sunjevarić continues to honor and evolve the legacy of Zlakusa pottery — connecting modern homes with one of Serbia’s most distinctive artisanal traditions.
